With an Intel Atom x6211E dual-core processor 1.3GHz/3GHz (burst), the nROK 1030 is a small, tough, entry-level vehicle computer made for the challenging in-train environment. It is specifically for vehicles with limited space to locate the computer system due to its compact design, without compromising on its space to scarify its features.

The nROK 1030 has CAN 2.0B onboard for managing driver behaviour and diagnosing vehicles. A sophisticated GNSS receiver is available that supports GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, GALILEO, and BEIDOU in addition to an optional dead reckoning module. Optional WLAN Wi-Fi 6/6E/Wi-Fi 5 and WWAN 5G NR/LTE wireless data connectivity are available on the nROK 1030. In terms of rolling stock applications, such as wireless gateway, infotainment, and digital radio data/voice transmission system, nROK 1030 maintains its flexibility to meet various needs.
